It has been 3 years since I discovered the world of Apple; a good mate bought me an iPod Touch. This was my introduction to Apple and the technology astounded me. I did begin to tiptoe around the edge of MacLove.

The transition was interrupted as I embarked on a brief flirtation with an Android phone until sanity prevailed and a year ago I upgraded to an iPhone.

We now are Apple Lovers. Our technology 'sings' in unity in our home. I use the term 'we' lightly as Russell is a Mac-Hater. It certainly is testament to his infinite love for me that he has dipped into our resources to satisfy my technology desires. :-)

I have been patiently waiting for the stars to align to acquire the Big Daddy of all, ....and it arrived on Saturday afternoon. My 40th birthday present, slightly delayed, much anticipated and GREATLY appreciated!

Have never worked on an Apple device before and never owned one as well. But one day :)
Love your new toy and love that you are loving it. Enjoy
And by the way, I love this regular blogging thing you have going presently.

I have not yet been swayed(totally), but Mr OL is right there with you. He has an iPad and iPhone and wants to add to his Mac family.

I have been known to use the iPad a "little" bit more often than he does though.... That is when I can wrestle it away from the 3 year old.

Love my iphone and ipad - sadly the world of CAD and Apple are no friends at all

I like your "sings in unity" thing - our mantra is (and the hubby firmly on board too) - "it just works!" all the pieces, ipad, ipod, iphone, apple tv, iMac (oh I've just realised how bad our addiction is) - all talk to each other without ANY problems, EVER. Even with additional technology (our TV as wifi connectivity, and we have a wifi booster, as well as a cell phone signal booster in the house) and zero problems. All unity and harmony. All Hail Steve Jobs! (lol)

You'll never go back! I am awaiting the arrival of my new MacAir, on its way from the States in a couple of weeks. Two birds with one stone: Maclove and 'compact and bijou' :-)

Oh I am LOVING my Mac. You'll get the hang of it soon. It is so much simpler in the long run.
